A gym that started as a run club
In 2014 twelve runners met in the car park behind Foundry Lane every Saturday at eight. No kit, no fees, just a loop of the river and coffee after.
The first barbell arrived a year later, in a lock-up beside the bike shop. Since then it has grown to two rooms, six coaches and seventy-five classes a week, and the Saturday run still leaves from the river gate.

The difference is the coaching
- 01
Coached, not watched
Every session has a coach on the floor, watching your form and adjusting the plan.
- 02
One workout, three levels
Beginners and veterans train side by side, each on a version of the session that fits.
- 03
A crew that notices
Miss a Tuesday and someone asks after you on Thursday. That is the point.
“I came for one class in 2019. I still have not missed a Saturday.”
Hannah K.
“The coaches know your name by the second session, and your squat by the third.”
Tom A.
“The only gym where the regulars clap for the new people.”
